DIRTY LAUNDRY

Just like real world dancing it would seem that I only had one drawing dance move - Left Arm Up, Right Arm Down, Kick Right Foot....repeat !!!

PEE SEA

with MY FRIENDS,

             and AROUND TOWN....

I'm a pack rat when it comes to old pictures that either I or a friend has done.  However, nothing that I did as a kid survived, I do remember that my 4th grade teacher Mrs. Belmonte (who was awesome) told me she was going to save some of my pictures because she thought I'd be famous.  I used to do impeccable "Wacky Package" and MAD magazine reproductions,  it was the thing that was important to me at the time.  In the early 1970's my older brothers and sisters would have Heavy Metal and Horror Movie comics - which I stole and copied...I wish I had saved some of that stuff......

COURTROOM ILLUSTRATION

This came in 2nd place in a Boston Comic News contest around 1988.

There are not a lot of these (yet).  This is from Jury Duty.

To draw Federal Court illustrations I think an artist has to be more tolerant of capturing misery and chaos than I am right now.  It's pretty much the exact opposite of painting seascapes and flowers in a field (which I also don't do a lot of).  There may be a point in my future when I am so bored that this could be some sort of cheap/sick, and creative entertainment.   For now I think I'll just stick with a more pleasing and less dysfunctional use of my time.

POINTLESS...

1980's stuff...

The subject matter of this cartoon dances gingerly along the line of political correctness.  Peeking over the edge into the abyss of offensive material but never actually jumping in( (hopefully).  If you are offended, you probably never read MAD, CRAcKeD, Heavy Metal, National Lampoon or other such classics.
